Sono Resources Expands Aeromagnetic Survey at its Copper-Silver Project, Africa

Sono Resources has expanded the high-resolution aeromagnetic survey at its copper-silver project.

The plan of this survey is to outline the high-priority drilling targets on the project, which was acquired recently by means of the purchase of Bonnyridge PTY’s 95% of the shares. This Bonnyridge project is located in Botswana, Africa. Sono is exploring the Kalahari copper belt’s center part to find copper and silver mineralization.

The company completed the first assessment of the high-resolution magnetic information and discovered the target horizon expansions from a comprehensive technical study of the local geology that was equivalent to the Kalahari copper belt’s geological model. So, it was decided to fly further line kilometers over the three license blocks of the company. The company has cautiously chosen the further high-resolution lines to discover high priority drill targets in the proposed drilling program of the company.

The licenses of the company include three blocks, which is situated in the middle of the Kalahari copper belt and are extensively featured as the southwestern expansion of the DRC or Zambian copper belt that is widening into Namibia and through Botswana. This belt has several copper producing mines and numerous latest exploration activities.
