Tumi Resources Receives Initial Diamond Drilling Results from La Gloria Skarn Prospect

Tumi Resources has obtained the results from a primary diamond drilling program conducted at the La Gloria skarn prospect, which contains gold, tin and tungsten. The prospect is situated at approximately 250 km by road towards the eastern part of Sonora.

The company drilled six holes, totaling 671.3 m and the depth ranges from 81.5 to 148.65 m. Sulphides and skarn were encountered in all the holes, which ended in marble. Tumi drilled these primary holes on an extensive basis in order to understand the mineralization distributed in the defined region of the skarn zone. The holes from 1 to 4 and hole 6 intersected the skarn from the central to footwall portion and returned irregular values of tungsten, tin and gold. Though the hole 5 was collared near the skarn’s footwall part, it returns good grades. The company has to conduct additional work near the hole 5 in order to find out whether there is a continuation of mineralized intersection and needs further drilling. It has started the comprehensive mapping of this potential region.

Mr. David Henstridge, Tumi Resources’ President, commented that the results from the identification of extensive mineralization gold, tin and tungsten in the hole 5 drilled at La Gloria skarn is positive and the company is carrying out the comprehensive mapping program to find and justify whether a phase II drilling program can be conducted on the zone of interest.
