International Northair Mines Adds Core Drill to Accelerate La Cigarra Project Drilling

International Northair Mines (Northair) has reported the addition of another core drilling rig to the site in order to accelerate the ongoing drilling program at the La Cigarra silver project, which is situated in north central Mexico.

According to Northair’s CEO and President, Fred Hewett, the company has included a second core drilling rig in order to improve and speed up the current drilling at the project. This step has been executed by the company to make sure that the timeline for the primary resource calculation for the project is in line and is offered in the third quarter of 2012.

Currently, a main core drill program is carried by the company where the program is focused on outlining the Las Carolinas and San Gregorio zones and a step out drill program is being conducted to examine the intervening potential regions between these two zones. The drilling program conducted so far has discovered a mineralized system along a trend of 2,000 m long, which includes both the Las Carolinas and San Gregorio Zones. Significant values of silver have been encountered from the 50 core and 11 reverse circulation hole results obtained in the 2,000 m identified system. The company has also found further anomalous values of zinc, lead and gold. The company’s drill program has examined the system to around 200 m of down dip, where identical grades of silver were returned. The system stays exposed down dip and along strike.
