Xinyi Among The First Domestic Fluorite Companies Approved For Standard Production Line

China Shen Zhou Mining & Resources, Inc., a Company engaged in the exploration, development, mining and processing of fluorite, barite, zinc, copper, and other nonferrous metals in China, today announced that the Company's subsidiary, Xinyi Fluorite Company, Ltd. ("Xinyi") was selected among the first group of fluorite companies whose production lines met the government standards.

Based in Jingde County, Anhui Province, Xinyi's production line was one of the ten production lines meeting standards established by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of the P. R. China. China Shen Zhou and its fluorite related subsidiaries will fully cooperate with relevant government agencies for future inspections.

Ms. Xiaojing Yu, Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of China Shen Zhou, commented, "Fluorite's importance as a key industrial raw material has been recognized by the highest government authorities in China including the State Council. MITT began its public inspection of fluorite companies early this year.
