Source Exploration Announces Work Program at Las Minas Property

Source Exploration has reported that it will commence this year’s work program at the Las Minas copper-gold-silver project situated in Mexico. The work program will comprise 2,000 m of diamond drilling in order to extend and infill the high-grade host skarn intrusion portion discovered during phase II drill program.

Grupo Drilcor has received a drill contract and drilling will be conducted in mid-August. Prospecting and sampling will be continuously performed to examine for expansions of present mineralization and to discover new mineralization containing copper, gold and silver at La Luz, La Miquitta and Las Minas concessions, and the newly purchased San Valentin concession.

In the 2011 drilling, the company intersected 0.52% copper, 4.02 g/t silver and 14.94 g/t gold over 3.65 m, and 0.91% copper, 6.80 g/t silver and 27.05 g/t gold over 2.0 m in hole LM-11-LL-40; 1.27 g/t gold, 4.23 g/t silver and 0.38% copper over 24.0 m in hole LM-11-SC-44; 12.98 g/t silver, 2.25 % copper, and 15.89 g/t gold over 10.0 m, including 37.26 g/t gold, 25.4 g/t silver and 4.05% copper over 4.0 m in hole LM-11-SC-45; 1.08 g/t gold, 3.05 g/t silver and 0.42% copper over 42.0 m in hole LM-11-SC-49; and 2.06 g/t gold, 8.62 g/t silver and 1.04% copper over 24.0 m in hole LM-11-SC-50.

Source has obtained last assay results of the phase I program carried out at the Capricho property in Mexico. It had completed 13 diamond drill holes, totaling 2,279 m. The company has informed the property proprietors that it will conclude the option contract based on the drill program results and further work completed to validate the property.
