Soltoro Encounters Additional High-Grade Silver Mineralization from La Soledad West Deposit

Soltoro has announced that further high-grade silver mineralization has been encountered at depth of the La Soledad West deposit, which is located at the El Rayo project in Mexico.

Three step-out diamond holes out of four have returned mineralized high-grade silver in which every hole includes intervals of approximately 500 g/t silver. The company has planned for an additional drill program along strike and at depth towards the eastern and western parts in order to outline the La Soledad West deposit’s limits. The company completed four diamond drill holes down-dip from formerly discovered high-grade silver mineralization that was encountered in holes Ray12-125, Ray11-87 and Ray11-59.

According to Soltoro’s CEO and President, Andrew Thomson, the drill program at the northern part of the La Soledad has extended the popular high-grade silver resource, where thickness and grades of silver are expanding with depth. Three holes out of four specifically drilled at the La Soledad West yielded half kilogram of silver, where mineralization stays exposed at depth and along strike towards the western and eastern parts. Drill testing will be continuing in this region in order to extend the present silver resources.

Six RC holes and four diamond holes were specifically drilled in order to extend the fresh high-grade silver zone identified at Matachines East. Formerly prominent and high-grade silver structure was encountered in RC12-149.

Drill program has intercepted wide low-grade silver mineralization intervals but did not encounter high-grade silver same as those intersected in hole RC12-149. The Las Bolas structure was intersected in hole Ray12-146, which was specifically designed to examine a silver soil anomaly for 200 m towards the eastern part of the Matachines mine.

Besides the diamond drill program, the company has expanded soil sampling to enclose popular regions. Sampling and mapping are now ongoing in these regions with the intention to expand the drill target areas.
