Titan Europe to Present at MINExpo 2012

MINExpo 2012 is one of the largest expositions in the world and will be held from 24 to 26 September, 2012 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Titan Europe is a specialist in designing, developing, producing and supplying wheels, undercarriage assemblies and parts for use in wheeled off-road and tracked vehicles. The company will participate in the trade event that is represented by ITM Intertractor America.

Titan Europe finds this MINExpo to be the perfect place for exhibiting the company’s quality in the services and products that are provided to the mining industry. Over 1400 exhibitors and more than 35,000 of audience will be attending the event.

Intertractor America forms the basis for the Group’s ITM Undercarriage Division located in North America. It offers a broad range of parts for use in mining machines.

The product line contains parts for use in D11 class dozers, hydraulic excavators up to 800 t and drilling machines, also for mineral extraction and auxiliary machines. The division additionally expands the undercarriage parts for use in non-conventional models like conveyors and apron feeders. Wide R&D activity along with field and laboratory testing has resulted in the release of new lubricated chains for use in dozers.

Intertractor can provide specially designed system solutions to customers for use in machines up to 2500 t. The Undercarriage Division offers tailor-made solutions for use in traditional machines like drill rigs, and also special applications like bucket wheel excavators, mobile crushers, mobile conveyors, reclaimers and stacker bridges.

Titan Australia will showcase its unique mining wheels at MINExpo. The company is popular for its patented outside vertical mount (OVM) large mining wheel, which allows replacement of the outside tire without taking out wheel bases from the hubs. Therefore, the machine downtime is minimized.

Titan Australia provides six-piece vertical mount (SVM) wheel, developed together with the OVM, to fit in tire positions. The Wheel Division manufactures several huge mining truck wheels with diameter varying from 49” to 63” to handle the high stresses and loads that were caused by the many mine applications.

Titan Europe serves the mining regions of South America, South Africa, Indonesia and Australia.
