KKAI to Review Quality and Carbonization Data at Colonial’s Huguenot Coal Project

Colonial Coal International Corp. (the "Company" or "Colonial Coal"). David Austin, Colonial Coal's President and CEO, is pleased to report that, with a view to characterizing the nature of a potential coal product from the Company's Huguenot Coal Project (located in northeastern British Columbia), Colonial Coal has recently commissioned Kobie Koornhof Associates Inc. ("KKAI") to undertake a review of coal quality and carbonization data derived from core samples.

Prophecy Enters into Binding Sales Contracts for Coal from Ulaan Ovoo Mine

Prophecy Coal Corp. (“Prophecy” or the Company”) is pleased to announce that in the last 60 days, it has entered into binding coal sales contracts with a number of buyers which will involve the sale of over 30,000 tonnes of coal per month (annualized rate of over 360,000 tonnes) from the Company’s Ulaan Ovoo mine.

CONSOL Energy to Resume Operations at Blacksville No. 2 Mine Following Approval

CONSOL Energy Inc. today received approval from MSHA and state agencies of its plan to resume mining operations at the Blacksville No. 2 Mine, which was evacuated on March 12 when smoke was detected exiting the Orndoff shaft. CONSOL Energy expects full operations to begin with the morning shift on May 20.
