Redstar Gold has announced that the company has commenced 2012 drilling program at the Newman-Todd property in Ontario and the exploration camp at the property become operational. Drilling of minimum 5,000 m may follow up the results that were encountered from the 2012 drilling.
Teras Resources has reported that the company has received additional assay results from the Cahuilla gold-silver project, located in California. The company continues the drill program along the Modoc fault zone and around 200 m towards the southeastern part in the precious metal deposit’s south-central part.
Zenyatta Ventures has reported the significant assay results of the present drill program carrying out at the Albany Graphite deposit.

Noble Royalties, Inc. has closed on the acquisition of producing oil and natural gas royalties in seven North Dakota counties from an undisclosed seller.
The Chilean National Energy Commission (CNE) has decided to switch its data provider for energy markets to leading energy and commodity price reporting agency Argus. The CNE will use Argus for all of its crude oil, petroleum products, biofuels, LPG and freight information from 23 May 2012.
Brigus announces that severe forest fires have caused a power outage at the Company's Black Fox Mill, located approximately 30 kilometres east of Timmins. This has resulted in the temporary suspension of milling operations and gold production. The power outage occurred yesterday and power is expected to be restored early next week.
