Opus One Gold Corp manages a huge land package along the Casa-Berardi and Douay-Cameron Breaks—two significant regional geological structures considered to host mesothermal gold deposits. Three of the properties belonging to Opus One Gold are situated inside this geological surrounding.

Noyell

Currently, everything has been set to begin the 5,000 m drilling program on Noyell property, in January 2021. Permitting has been finished. Water accesses, road and drill sites have already been discovered and will be developed in early January.

It is anticipated that a drill rig will be mobilized in the field on January 12th, 2021, where drilling will start right away. Drilling must continue for most of the winter months.

This is a very essential step for the company as such drill targets are regarded as having high potential as a sequel to the considerable gold results achieved in March 2020, just before work was stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Eight holes will be drilled to examine the 2020 discovery area, while five holes will help analyze IP anomalies that are situated from 0.5 to 3 km to the east of drill hole NO-20-02.

FECTEAU (Urban-Barry Windfall)

The Fecteau property belonging to Opus One Gold is strategically situated in the highly active Urban-Barry Windfall gold district with easy land access.

In recent months, the company has developed three priority areas depending on till sampling program and prospecting. Three grids were cut across the latest targets and IP geophysics was done over all of them. Findings are being examined. Drill targets will be developed by the company for drilling during the 2021 summer.

Outlook for the Next Quarter

After a successful financing program that was completed in August 2020, Opus One Gold is well-positioned to complete the scheduled forthcoming programs.

The drilling program to start on Noyell will be exciting. The company believes that a substantial gold deposit could be delineated along the Casa-Berardi-Douay-Cameron deformation corridor on Noyell.

All field surveys finished on Fecteau in recent years are currently leading the company toward a new exploration phase. The company is confident that the recent IP survey results will produce outstanding drill targets. This work should begin as soon as next summer.

As we were aware of a significant increase in mining exploration activity, we were early to secure all our technical staff and drill contractor required for the upcoming projects, therefore we are now ready to resume our drill program, early next 2021.

Mr Louis Morin, CEO, Opus One Gold Corp Inc.

This is an exciting phase to the company as, based on past results and those obtained from last winter drill program, we know there is gold in the system, and we have a large land package in the Vezza-Casa Berardi area to explore. We think 2021 will be very exciting for Opus One Gold Corp,” added Mr Morin.
