Results From JSHG’s Lithium and Gold Tests Call for Further Sampling

Joshua Gold Resources Inc. (JSHG) reported that the results from two of its mining claim properties have each produced noteworthy findings in lithium and gold-related news.

The lithium-related findings from JSHG’s Seymour Lake Extension property come from a recent ground sampling program. The property is notable for being close to the lithium deposit owned by Green Technology Metals, which has recently published excellent results. The outcomes have been made public on the company’s website.

Seven ground samples from JSHG’s Seymour Lake Extension property were tested, and the results revealed lithium indicators that can be regarded as elevated. Given the size of the approximately 1100-acre property and the values from the samples, a more thorough investigation of the area is necessary.

Further exploration is necessary due to the lithium activity at the nearby Green Technology Metals property, the rapid expansion of electric vehicles, and the requirement for increased lithium production.

Combined with the recent lab results and our proximity to the Green Technology Metals active lithium deposit, our team remains highly focused on the continued exploration, and the economic potential of this JSHG property.

Several lab results from a ground sampling program in October 2022 at the historic Champion Gold Mine, which JSHG had purchased earlier that year, were recently released. These included two high-grade samples taken from a mine shaft and measured with a 33.6 g/t Au and 123 g/t Au, respectively.

Two high-grade grab samples 19483 and 19484 were about 3m and 5m down the shaft assayed 33.6 g/t Au and 123 g/t Au respectively in the quartz vein. Additional sampling of the quartz veins on the property is required.

The Champion Mine was found for the first time in the late 1800s and is situated on JSHG’s Jaffrey Property in Haycock Township, northwest of Kenora along Highway 17. The Canadian Mining Journal has been used to estimate that the mine produced roughly 1521 ounces of gold as of May 1936, despite the fact that it has been dormant for a long time.

Fuschino added, “The results from our current ground sampling program at the Champion Gold Mine are very interesting given the property’s documented history as a former gold producing mine. We are excited to continue our exploration program based on that as well as the recent sampling results, especially considering the potential for more efficient extraction of gold using modern technologies.
