Ascot Resources Ltd. Commences Ore Processing at Premier Gold Project

Ascot Resources Ltd. has announced the initiation of ore processing at the Premier Gold Project (“PGP” or the “Project”), situated on Nisga’a Nation Treaty Lands in the productive Golden Triangle of northwestern British Columbia. Rock was added to the mill's grinding circuit on March 31st, 2024, and the first ore was introduced on April 5th, 2024.

The start of ore processing is a momentous achievement for the whole team at Ascot and an exciting milestone for the Company. Most project construction activities are substantially completed, and commissioning activities are ongoing throughout the processing plant with the aim of pouring first gold this month.

Derek White, President and Chief Executive Office, Ascot Resources Ltd.

Waste rock was initially added to the grinding circuit, as is typical for processing plant start-ups, to provide barren material to pad the semi-autogenous grinding ("SAG") and Ball mill liners. On April 5th, 2024, gold-bearing ore was fed into the mill, and the grinding system was re-torqued following the commissioning process.

The remaining parts of the processing plant, including the gold room, cyanide destruction, elution circuit, carbon regeneration circuit, gravity concentration and intense leaching circuit, and carbon regeneration circuit, are currently the focus of commissioning activities.

The pipeline lines, tailings thickener, new water treatment plant, and tailings storage facility (TSF) are all operational.

The Company expects the first gold to be poured on schedule at the Project on April 20th, 2024.
