Solara Exploration Participates in Drilling and Casing of Cardium Horizontal Well

Solara Exploration has recently taken part in the drilling and casing of a horizontal Cardium oil well sited at Lsd. 8-17-45-5 W5M in the Pembina area of Alberta.

The company will complete and frace the new well within the subsequent weeks. Solara is having control over 26.67% working interest in the horizontal well situated nearby a currently producing Cardium oil and gas horizontal well in Lsd. 1-17-45-5 W5M. The plan of the project operator is to drill additional two wells in the similar section within the third quarter of 2011.

A prospective new oil pool discovery well in the Borradaile of east central Alberta has been drilled and cased by Solara. Solara holds a 100% operational interest in the well and now it is betrothed in drilling completion. When the company completes current operations, it will offer additional information on the potential oil well. If the new well operations are finished successfully, then Solara will drill on additional land sites.

Solara has concluded the sale of interests in a non-core oil property in east central Alberta to an anonymous procurer for $4.1 million. This deal is part of the current drilling program to deprive non-strategic assets to raise overall attention on core operations in Alberta.
