Hunter Bay Minerals Hires Terraquest to Perform Airborne Survey at Sela Creek Project

Hunter Bay Minerals has engaged Terraquest to carry out an airborne geophysical survey at its Sela Creek project in eastern Suriname.

The company will receive aeromagnetic, radiometric and XDS VLF-EM data from the survey and contains 4,986 line kilometres with 100 metres spacing covering the complete Sela Creek project. Hunter Bay is likely to complete the data acquisition in around 20 days.

The objective of the survey is to define structural anomalies, possible hydrothermal modification and prospective sulphide mineralization. The company has planned to report on ground- based exploration anomalies with soil sampling, channel sampling and geological mapping to decide their affiliation to gold mineralization.

Hunter Bay has considered the airborne survey as a lucrative technique and a valuable method in target creation and also describe mineralized zones in the wide alluvial and saprolite working areas. Analogous surveys somewhere else in the Guiana Shield have defined the targets.
