Mercer Gold Continues Recent Drilling Analysis at Guayabales Gold Property
Mercer Gold is continuing additional testing on the latest drilling at its Guayabales Gold Project, near Marmato town.
The company is performing a complete analysis and study of the first 5,000m drilling program results. This analysis examined two identified areas of the four at the project, the Encanto and the Porphyry Zones.
These encouraging results will lay a base for the subsequent large-scale drilling program. Now, the company has more geological information and can analyze imminent geophysics.
Mercer Gold has received the preliminary results from the holes near the Encanto mineralization zone and this zone is a structurally controlled zone from width of 6-30 meters, which is inferred to run more than 1 kilometer across the Guayabales project. The company relentlessly drills deeper at Encanto zone so as to explore the deeper Marmato style mineralization prospective that expands from the adjacent Echandia Marmato area. This Marmato spot has discovered gold of +10 million ounce, which is directly developed and besides the exploration area of Mercer Gold.
The company has announced the mutual agreement for not progressing with the purchase of the mineral properties of VCS Mining in Haiti, after finishing due diligence.
