Calibre Mining Announces Additional Assay Results from Riscos De Oro Property
Calibre Mining has reported assay results from two more drill holes of the 2011 drilling campaign at its Riscos de Oro property.
The company has intersected 7.69 g/t gold and 211.87 g/t silver at the hole RD11-012. The mineralization has stripy sulphosalts that is hosted in quartz vein breccias and low sulphidation epithermal stripy quartz layers.
The company has drilled these three holes to analyze the continuity of the southwest mineralized area that is up-dip from hole RD10-003. It has cut 8.81 g/t gold and 55.74 g/t silver over 3.4 m. These drill holes have been encountering high-grade gold and silver mineralization constantly for more than 200 m having 5.75 m width on an average. Now, Calibre is drilling 300 m on the strike to the northeast of this zone. The assay results from these drill holes will be announced soon.
Calibre put the collected samples in a preserved bag and ships to ALS CHEMEX labs in North Vancouver, BC for assaying and ICP multi-element analysis.
