Quia Resources Mobilizes Two Drill Rigs at San Lucas Property
Quia Resources has mobilized two drill rigs to its San Lucas property that is situated in Colombia for the preliminary diamond drill program totaling 5,000 m.
The company will commence the first drill rig at the La Colina target. The areal extent of the La Colina target is increased to a length of 2,400 m and thickness of 500 m through the latest soil assay results and re-analysis of the former airborne geophysical study. It contains gold–in-soil anomaly spread over the surface of uranium and thorium radiometric anomalies and between the quartz diorite porphyry unit and gneissic rocks.
Quia will begin the second drill rig at the La Rueda target. This target area has a length of 3,000 m and 100 m thick. It has gold-in-soil anomaly lying on the surface of the granodioritic subvolcanic unit.
This drilling program is a most important milestone for Quia. Further identification of the broader mineralization is done by drilling these initial two targets.
