Cap-Ex Ventures Receives Preliminary Survey Data from Redmond and Block 103 Properties

Cap-Ex Ventures has got and interpreted the primary data from the latest Airborne FALCON Gravity Gradiometer and High Sensitivity Magnetometer survey at the Redmond and Block 103 properties in the Labrador Trough, Quebec. These surveys were performed by Fugro Airborne Surveys.

Jean Hubert, a geophysical consultant, has completed the preliminary data interpretation and has found 31 hematite, direct shipping ore (DSO) priority targets for on ground analysis.

The first vertical derivative magnetic and residual gravity images were utilized to choose these priority targets based on the criteria that the interpreted targets situated in synclines are given high priority, all the targets lie in the Sokoman structure, low magnetic response and elevated gravity areas show DSO targets, targets occupying fault positions that increase the mineralized thickness were prioritized and high gravity and concurrent magnetite reflect the magnetite targets.

The company identified 7 magnetite and 16 DSO targets at Block 103. It also finds fifteen DSO targets on Redmond property with gravity anomalies and are crossed by traverse faults and are situated along a thrust fault.

Cap-Ex is presently on site mapping and outlining all targets to prepare for beginning the drilling program this year.
