International Montoro Resources Starts 2011 Work Program at Chuchinka Property

International Montoro Resources (Montoro) has begun the 2011 work program at the Chuchinka REE-Carbonatite property.

This Chuchinka property is situated in the Wicheeda-Carbo district, BC. The property is adjacent to a major rare earth discovery, which intersected 2.20% m REE over 144 m, 3.55% REE over 48.64 m and 2.92% REE over 72.0 m in three individual drill holes.

The CEO and President of the company, has stated that Montoro is making progress in the 2011 work season by beginning the work at the high-potential Chuchinka property, with the business partner Electric Metals. It has planned several work programs that encompasses further work to additionally outline the major Nickel anomaly identified at the Elliot Lake property, Ontario, an airborne survey at the Tacheeda REE property and a proposed drilling at the Uranium City property in Saskatchewan, to examine several targets found from samplings and airborne surveys.

Montoro’s phase I exploration executed at the Chuchinka property will outline the priority drill targets in numerous anomalies found by Electric Metals during an airborne survey conducted in 2010. The targets, which measure more than 4 km x 1 km, is the largest and are situated near the centre of the property and is described through a wide magnetic low and concurrent conductive anomalies. Soils and bedrock geochemical sampling along with ground-based geophysics in the form of scintillometer surveying and precision magnetometer, is applied to discover the most potential areas in these REE targets.

Trenching and a diamond drill program are included in the phase II exploration to examine high priority zones discovered in the phase I exploration program.
