Alberta Star Development Begins Production at Well in Landrose Property
Alberta Star Development has commenced production in a re-completed well, which is situated at its Landrose property in west central Saskatchewan.
The company has purchased this re-completed well from a major Canadian oil producer in a property exchange and has started oil production at a rate of 40 bbls/d in average. It had purchased a further 50% working interest in 240 acres that also includes the standing case well.
The company has additionally discovered six drill sites at the newly purchased Landrose properties. In the recently proclaimed 2011 drilling program, the company is expecting to comprise at least three further drilling sites from the Landrose properties. So far, the company has reached a 100% success in both the phase I and II drilling programs at Landrose property in Saskatchewan. It expects to begin the phase III drilling program at the earliest. The company has a 50% working interest in three Landrose drilling places. The company has planned to complete drilling of the three wells in this phase III drill program and to commence production by 2011 August end.
At present, the company holds an interest in 840 gross acres in the Landrose property, wherein there occurs 7 gross producing wells. These wells are from the Sparky and McLaren structures.
