Brookemont Capital Discovers Gold Flakes at BKT Project in Tanzania
Brookemont Capital (BKT) has announced about the site visit of its field manager at the recently explored 4.5 km arsenic soil sampling geochem anomaly, located at the Tanzanian property contagious to the north of Magambazi Prospecting License of Canaco.
The zone trenching has exposed a quartz vein and silicified zone and is being tested for gold. The company has surveyed the visible arsenopyrite in the amphibolites connected with the quartz layer.
It is not explicit about the liaison of this arsenopyrite rich volcanic rock and the area, but the individuality of the rock could signify a late interruption in the high metamorphic terrane and the existence of the arsenopyrite may be associated with the mineralizing engine for the area of mineralization.
Drainage’s field sampling cutting at the surrounding area of the arsenic geochem anomaly, has discovered gold flakes and also 0.5 mm of nuggets in the system. The gold source is confined since the drainages are very sporadic and the sample medium was situated along with angular boulders in the surface of 1 m.
The field manager of the company has stated that the zone at the BKT's property was identified by employing the new exploration methods to trace the mineralization, which is different from the former area discoveries through the artesianal mining efforts by the local small scale miners. Only because of the crews of BKT, the mineralization in the area was discovered.
