Zenyatta Ventures Begins Phase II Drilling at Albany Project

Zenyatta Ventures has begun a phase II drilling campaign at the Albany project, which is located near Hearst in north-east Ontario. This phase II program will include a minimum of 8000 m and will be conducted till Christmas break to examine numerous high-priority electromagnetic and magnetic geophysical targets discovered by VTEM 35, the aerial system of Geotech during the year, 2010.

The Albany project includes around 300,000 A in 28 individual claim blocks in a high potential region for nickel, copper, PGM's and additional mineral deposit types. The VTEM-35 airborne system in 2010 discovered more than thirty anomalies on a range of claim blocks. Most of the high priority geophysical targets are yet to be analyzed as only drilling of only four anomalies was done during the last five months due to delays. The drill program performed at those four anomalies yielded highly positive results from favourable ultramafic rocks, formerly unknown sulphide bearing intrusions, and a fresh iron discovery.

Zenyatta and Constance Lake First Nation signed an agreement on July 18, 2011. In addition, the company inked a new drilling contract with Foraco Canada to change the previous drilling contractor. Zenyatta is sure that there will not be any further delay in the future months and expects a steady data flow from the drilling program activities during the remaining months of 2011.

The CEO and President of Zenyatta, has commented that the company is expecting full support for its phase II drill program from Constance Lake First Nation. The company is looking forward to excellent prospects at the Albany Project and significant results are pending.
