ADX Energy Drills at Sidi Dhaher-1 Well

ADX Energy has drilled a 16" hole to 1,001 m of total depth at Sidi Dhaher-1 well. The company has spotted a competent structure for the casing shoe and has commenced to arrange for 13 3/8" casing processes.

The company is currently performing the casing operation at the well. It is anticipating the completion of the leak off test, casing process and cementing and drilling of 12 1/4" hole

Due to the forecast ADX is expecting that the 12 1/4" hole will cut the primary prospective target called Eocene reservoir later, which has hydrocarbons.

The location of Sidi Dhaher prospect is in the 2,428 sq. km huge Chorbane Exploration Permit onshore central Tunisia, which is near the Sfax port city. Numerous oil producing oil and wide infrastructure of oil and gas are contiguous to the prospect.

The focus of the well is on a Cretaceous reservoir with validated potential oil resources of 44 M barrels and an Eocene reservoir with calculated potential recoverable gas resources of 175 BCF. Further targets are occurring in the deep Bireno and Douleb reservoirs, which produces gas and oil in the Guebiba-El Hajeb field that is located immediately to the eastern part of the Chorbane permit.

ADX Energy has 40% interest in the well and act as the operator. Gulfsands Petroleum holds 40%, Verus Investments holds 10% and XState Resources has 10% interest in the Sidi Dhaher-1 well.
