Cancana Resources Begins Pitting Exploration Program on Valdirao Claim

Cancana Resources declared that it will begin a geotechnical review, pitting and exploration program on its Valdirao Claim 6. This work will be utilized to complete a NI 43-101 Compliant Report.

During the Q3 of 2011, the company hired a professional local prospector to conduct preliminary stage surface as well as pitting exploration on its Valdirao claim. The results received from this review offered enough geotechnical data to necessitate additional exploration by a qualified person.

Andris Kikauka, a professional geologist, was engaged to complete the NI 43-101 report. The geologist visited the Valdirao claims during the Q3 of 2011 to confirm the work of the preliminary prospecting that was completed. Later, Kikauka concluded that the mineralization had Pyrolusite and Manganite occurrences at surface and also in-situ occurrences inside the initial pitting. Extractions and grab samples have graded up to 64% Manganese and averaged 52% Manganese.

With the help of Kikauka, Cancana Resources will perform a pitting and exploration review that has been ascertained within the Mining Plan developed by Christopher Morgan and Associates. Cancana Resources will release the NI 43-101 report results once it is completed.

With an engineering review of the condition and style of the mineralization and the cost-effective quantification of Manganese in the Valdirao claim region, the company will begin the trial mining work after it obtains the initial permit for the claim.

The pitting work will be utilized to ascertain how the mining activity can be started and offer the highest positive impact. This data and the mining plan will be combined to set up a cost-effective process for mine development and manganese extraction.
