Encore Renaissance Resources Discovers New Zone at Bonaparte Property

Encore Renaissance Resources has reported that the company is nearing the completion of the compilation work of historical information. The company has obtained data from geophysical and soil geochemical survey of 2011, and the data analysis is being conducted.

The 2011 survey included a grid that expands towards the Discovery zone’s eastern and northern part. The Discovery zone has a sequence of en-echelon quartz veins.

The compilation work has defined many areas of interest on which additional exploration will be conducted in the future field season. This exploration will also be conducted on the Cooler Creek zone, which is a fresh target situated 500 m towards the Southeast of the Discovery zone. Previous magnetic geophysical and soil geochemistry surveys conducted at the Cooler Creek zone have defined a zone that is trending towards northwest and southeast along with high anomalous gold in soils.

Coast Mountain Geological has announced its preparation for an exploration to broadly test the early under-explored potential regions of the property. The 2012 program will include wide soil geochemistry, line cutting, trenching, and VLF-magnetic geophysical surveys, and follow-up drill program over an extensive area of interest. The budget for phase I exploration is expected to be around $2.0 million.

The company’s former work at the property has included underground development of 161 m in the Discovery zone. Exploration at this Discovery Zone has identified 14 en-echelon quartz veins, containing gold, with surface trenching and drill program yielding grades of gold to 115.27 g. The company completed 161 m of underground development and processed primary underground bulk samples and assayed 0.475 oz/t gold.
