Zenyatta Ventures Updates on Current Drilling at Albany Graphite Deposit

Zenyatta Ventures has reported the updates on the present drill program carried out at the Albany Graphite deposit.

The company specifically collared the drill hole #5, Z12-4F5, for 450 m towards the eastern part of the discovery drill hole, Z11-4F1. The hole cut graphitic breccia, when passed through the limestone or overburden. Zenyatta intersected a broad graphitic breccia zone from 44.0 to 138.0 m following a graphitic overprinting zone from 138.0 to 214.0 m.

Drill hole #4, Z12-4F4, was specifically drilled in the southerly direction. It cut a graphitic veining and breccia zone after a graphitic overprinting zone from 61.8 to 170.0 m. At the point of 170.0 m, the drill rig experienced mechanical issues associated with a separated drill string. As the drill string cannot be attached again, the company abandoned the hole and will later re-drill this particular geophysical anomaly area.

The CEO and President of Zenyatta, Aubrey Eveleigh commented that the holes 4 and 5 were huge step-out holes drilled towards the eastern part, where the company has continuously encountered wide graphitic mineralization zones. This has validated that the continuation of the aerial geophysical anomaly towards the east is caused by the similar body, rich in graphite. Zenyatta is delighted to obtain the new drill results that may continuously increase this unique graphite deposit, according to Aubrey.

The company will drill the next drill holes, #6 and #7, 100 m towards the western and eastern part of the discovery hole #1, respectively. It has started drilling the hole #6. The location of the graphite discovery is 30 km towards northern part of the Trans Canada Highway, natural gas pipeline and power line.
