Reservoir Minerals Announces Phase I Stream Sampling Program Results from Bibemi Project

Reservoir Minerals (RMC) has reported the results of the phase I stream sampling program carried out at the Bibemi Exploration License, located in North Cameroon. Stream sediment samples with gold anomaly, along with mapping of seasonal artisanal works, have outlined three anomalous regions present in the potential Archean greenstone terrain, over 35 km of strike.

Around 1,000 sq. km of area in North Cameroon is enclosed in the Bibemi license. Archean greenstone formations are included in the property and have potential for mineralized gold. The company mapped numerous seasonal artisanal gold work locations in the license. It gathered 619 stream sediment samples at a density that varies from 1 sample per 0.5 to 2 sq. km.

The gold geochemical anomalism is showed over the Archean greenstone terrain, by geochemical and geological mapping of the Bibemi license. The terrain expands on strike for about 35 km towards the NE-SW part via the License. Anomalous values of arsenic are related to the gold anomalism. Comprehensive analysis of results indicates a strong "nugget-effect" that is caused due to coarse gold occurrence in the stream sediments. This may lead to spotty and inconsistent distribution of anomalous gold. The stream sediment samples having results over 50 ppb of gold along with mapping of artisanal works have discovered three regions.

Follow-up work is essential for these regions in order to find out the gold anomalism source. The company has commenced a geochemical soil sampling program in these areas.
