International Northair Mines Completes Initial Core Drilling at Sierra Rosario Project

International Northair Mines (Northair), a mineral exploration company, has reported that a preliminary core drilling campaign has been completed at the company’s Sierra Rosario silver gold project, which is situated in Mexico.

Northair and its 50% partner American Consolidated Minerals carried out this drilling program, which included drilling of 1,392.15 m totaling six core holes. This program was specifically designed to examine a part of gold-silver geochemical and induced polarization geophysical soil anomaly having a length of 600 m. The company is waiting for the drilling results and will announce once assays have been obtained and analyzed.

Additionally, the company has completed a follow up geochemical campaign at the property. This follow-up program was specifically designed to expand the preliminary soil sampling grid that is located towards the southeastern part in order to outline the borders of the open ended gold-silver soil anomaly, whose length is 1,400 m and thickness is up to 1,300 m at its southeast end.

Further work expanded three current lines located towards northeast and extended the grid for 600 m towards the southeastern part. Assay results are also pending for this program and will be released once they become available.

The company is involved in purchase and expansion of silver and gold properties located in Mexico. It has staked and bought several early phase projects, which provide opportunities for extensive discoveries. Currently, the company is conducting drilling program at the La Cigarra silver project to complete a 2012 preliminary resource estimate.
