Gary graduated from the University of Manchester with a first-class honours degree in Geochemistry and a Masters in Earth Sciences. After working in the Australian mining industry, Gary decided to hang up his geology boots and turn his hand to writing.

When he isn't developing topical and informative content, Gary can usually be found playing his beloved guitar, or watching Aston Villa FC snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Metso Signs Agreement with Codelco to Deliver Big Cone Crushers in Chile

Metso, an international provider of technology and services in the process industries, has declared that it has inked an agreement with Codelco, a major mining firm in Chile, to supply the biggest cone crushers for use in a process improvement project of the main open pit copper mine located in the Chuquicamata division. An automatic control system to be used in crushers is also included in the contract. The value of the contract surpasses EUR 9 million.
