Avrupa Minerals has reported that the 2012 exploration work campaign will be commenced at the Covas joint venture project, North Portugal. Blackheath Resources possess a two-phase option to earn 70% of the Covas joint venture project, by paying €1million within March 2014.

Andover Mining, a base and precious metal exploration and development firm, has reported assay results from the initial hole drilled at the SUN property, during 2012 drilling campaign. This property is located in Northwest Alaska. On June 21, 2012, the company completed drill hole SUN 12-29 at a depth of about 203 m.

International Enexco has reported further drilling results from the 2011-2012 program performed at the Contact Copper project situated in Nevada. The company completed 42,418 ft of drilling at the project and encountered 0.21% copper over 200 ft in hole EN-169 and 0.33% copper over 105 ft in hole EN-164.

Source Exploration has reported that it will commence this year’s work program at the Las Minas copper-gold-silver project situated in Mexico. The work program will comprise 2,000 m of diamond drilling in order to extend and infill the high-grade host skarn intrusion portion discovered during phase II drill program.
