Sona Resources Final Assay Results from Elizabeth Gold Deposit Property

Sona Resources has reported the concluding test results of the 2010 diamond drill program at its Elizabeth gold deposit property.

The samples are re-examined and checked to revise seven composite assay results from the 2010 drilling program. The laboratory has assayed two samples inaccurately from the drill hole E10-69, therefore there was an increase in the interval and the composite assay interval from 4.0 to 5.3 metres but the gold grade reduced from 85.4 g/t to 77.9 g/t.

The drill core has been logged and opened on the spot. EcoTech laboratory in Kamloops, B.C. has tested half-core samples using metallic screening gold fire assaying and 30-element ICP multi-acid digestion.

Until now, the company had not included the 2010 surface diamond drilling program results at the Elizabeth gold deposit property in the official resource numbers. Sona has planned to include these results in the upcoming 2011 underground and surface exploration programs results and release it as new NI 43-101 resource report this year.
