NQ Exploration Announces Final Drill Hole Results from Carheil Project
NQ Exploration has released the final two drill hole results from the winter exploration campaign at its Carheil project. Holes CA2011-16 and CA2011-17 have revealed the presence of Ag1 zone at the surface at a depth of 110 metres vertically. The company has cut 1.27% zinc, 603.0 g/t silver and 7.24% copper over 0.2 m in hole CA2011-17 at Ag1 zone.
The company identified more dispersed silver-bearing zones across the felsic unit through the recent results that are reliant on the degree of albitization and silicification. These silicified zones are broken, smaller and narrower in the last two holes. Zinc, silver and copper are more in hole CA2011-17.
NQ has drilled CA2011-17, which is the nearest-surface hole. Considering the received information, the company will drill additional shallow holes on a firm drill grid to develop the understanding of the high-grade zone distribution and evaluate their fiscal feasibility.
Accurassay and ALS Chemex laboratory have executed the assays. Two techniques were involved for assaying the samples.
