Galore Resources has started the drill program at Los Gemelos and El Álamo, which are important gold prospects situated at its Dos Santos property in Mexico, and at the Camino Rojo-Mazapil trend in the Concepcion Del Oro mining district.
A conventional track drill has been engaged by the company to decrease the access difficulties in construction at the El Álamo’s sharp terrain and to perform the drill program economically and independently. Drilling at the El Álamo has been planned to examine around and below the formerly reported results of the trenching program. The company will conduct this campaign by means of close-spaced holes, which has 30 m spacing and depth of up to 30 m. The drill program has been planned to find the size and shape of the prospective deposit below the surface and to outline the deep drill target areas.
The company’s 15 to 20 hole drilling campaign at the Los Gemelos will analyze the shallow free gold existence along an extensive skarn mineralization zone. Surficial diggings are present at the Los Gemelos property. Galore examined the region by digging several trenches during 2008 and the rock-chip samples were taken from several prospect pits and underground workings. Potential gold results were yielded during this sampling. The company began a ground-magnetics geophysical survey at the area adjacent to the Los Gemelos in order to analyze for skarn mineralization below the near surface alluvium.
