Big Bear Mining Reveals Initial Exploration Results of Red Lake Claims

Big Bear Mining Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: BGBR), a U.S. based exploration and development company focused on the acquisition and development of gold and other precious commodity projects, announced today the results from preliminary exploration in Red Lake Claims in Western Ontario.

The exploration efforts included validating historical showings, geological mapping, and prospecting.

The company holds contiguous claims in three blocks in the Birch-Uchi region of Red Lake. The Shabu claims and the Sol D'Or Mine claims yielded early stage results that were worthy of possible additional exploration.

The Sol d'or Mine claims yielded very high showings at vein one, vein two, and the dump areas with 17.2 Au g/t, 14.9 Au g/t, and 12.6 Au g/t respectively. Big Bear President and CEO, Steve Rix stated, "In our early stages of exploration we are looking for results and trends that warrant additional exploration.  We are encouraged by the results from these claims and will provide additional information as it becomes available.”

The company is sending a team led by Vice President of Exploration, Mr. John Glasscock, to view each of the properties this week with chief geologist, John Archibald, of Billiken Management Group. From there, consideration for further exploration and disposition of the land can take place. The full exploration results can be reviewed in the report available our web page at www.bigbearminingcorp.com.
