Silver Mountain Mines has announced that it has discovered high grade silver and gold zones at its 9,200 ha property at British Columbia, which is wholly owned by the company.
The areas in the new zone include Iron Cap mine area, North Ridge West Vein and a new area, which is located to the north of Law Creek and Horsethief Creek.
In the year 2011 silt, soil and rock geochemical sampling program was carried out in the Horsethief and Ptarmigan areas, which resulted in important Silver, Copper, Gold, Zinc and Lead irregularities, which required follow up from the company’s side in 2012. Silver Mountain has been able explore only 5% of the prospective property. The company has sufficient funds to continue with the program during 2012. The results of the geochemical sampling program, which was conducted in 2011 are being assessed at present, which will greatly help the company in understanding the mineralisation patterns of Silver Mountain and carry out a successful exploration program in 2012. An independent laboratory and facility for preparation carried out the materials analysis based on a total of 508 samples of silt, rock and soil.
