Noble Mineral Exploration Starts Diamond Drill Program at Lucas Gold Target

Noble Mineral Exploration has begun the diamond drill program at the Lucas Gold Target, which is located on Project 81 in North Ontario, Canada.

The company’s drill program is specifically designed to examine strike of mineralized structures of more than 700 m, which were defined through a recent induced polarization (IP) survey and airborne differential magnetic, radiometric, TEM and VLF surveys over the target.

In this primary drilling program, the company has planned to drill around 3,800 m, totaling six NQ- size diamond holes, to validate the previous drilling results. Earlier drill program was carried out from 1960 to 1980 by Abitibi Price Resources, Canico, and McIntyre Porcupine Mines at the Lucas Township gold target. In addition, the diamond drilling campaign is specially designed to follow TEM, VLF, radiometric and airborne gradiometer magnetic surveys that were carried out in late 2011 and a 45 km IP survey over a grid of area 1500 x 3000 m at line spacings of 100 m during early 2012, completed by NOB.

The Project 81 is the flagship project of Noble Mineral Exploration. The area of the project includes 72,218 ha with two blocks, which are staked and patented land package. The patents incorporate timber, mineral and surface rights, and have large timber resource and several zones, wherein mineralized gold and nickel were discovered during the previous exploration program conducted in the 1960s and 1970s. The new assays obtained from present drilling program have confirmed the occurrence of the mineralization.
