Geologix Explorations Drills at Tepal Project

Geologix Explorations, a mineral exploration firm, has reported that it has begun an exploration drilling program at the Tepal project located in Mexico.

The company’s reverse circulation program was aimed to drill 30 preliminary holes in order to examine five new potential zones, as defined through the new surface sampling and geophysical campaigns. Geologix may possibly target further holes, based on the assays obtained during the first phase of drilling.

Geologix has commenced the drill program in the Target Area #3, where increased concentration of silver and gold were obtained from rock samples in an area that measures 1,800 x 600 m situated adjacent to the planned mill site of the project. The company sampled separate assays of up to 433 g/t silver over 1.6 m and 6.88 g/t gold over 2.0 m in Target Area #3.

According to Dunham Craig, Geologix Explorations’ CEO and President, the company’s exploration team is delighted to commence another exploration drill program at the Tepal project. The extent of the geophysical results, together with the strong results from sock and soil sampling campaigns conducted at many of these new regions, offers positive exploration prospect as an addition to the presently identified resource zones, which are being assessed as part of the ongoing pre-feasibility study at the Tepal project. Understanding these fresh targets before a bankable feasibility study will enable Geologix to model a mine plan for the future.
