Teras Resources has received the assay results of five recent holes from the 14 hole diamond drilling campaign at the Cahuilla gold-silver project in California.
Macusani Yellowcake has released further drilling results from the Chilcuno Chico region at the Kihitian Property in Peru. These drilling results sustain the expansion of the deeper Manto B zone.

Treasury Metals has completed the magnetic and heliborne electromagnetic (EM) surveys for the 1,236 km over the Goldcliff and Goliath gold projects, which are located in northwestern Ontario.
A coal mine near Singleton, NSW was ordered to shut down following concerns of unsafe methane gas levels. The Intergra underground coal mine stopped operations and evacuated workers as the Department of Trade and Investment issued the order to cease work until further notice while investigations get under way.
Buenaventura is Peru’s largest publically traded precious metals mining company. Known as Compania de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A. it recently announced that its Board of Directors had approved full funding for the Conga Project located in Peru.
Woulfe Mining Corp announced that it would be able to develop the Sangdong project in South Korea for half the estimated cost. The tungsten-molybdenum project can be developed for an estimated $135 million. The estimate last year was for a cost of $289 million and it was targeting a 2.4 million tonne per annum production.

Aquila Resources and Vale have decided to resume shipping coal from their mine in Queensland. Aquila Resources said that despite the coal being allowed to be shipped from Isaac Plains mine it was to seek legal action to claim damages for the cancellation of earlier shipments.
The investigator in charge of looking into illegal mining activities in Karnataka, Santosh Hegde has accused the Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and other ministers of taking bribes from companies involved in the scandal.
