Radar Iron Finds a Potential 5.3 Billion Tonnes of Magnetite

Radar Iron Ltd (ASX: RAD) listed on the Australian Securities Exchange six weeks ago and it is already looking at a 5.3 billion tonne magnetite prospect.

The exploration of the iron mineralization target was conducted by independent geophysical consultants. The results show great promise for an iron ore project in the explored region.

The Perth based Resource Potentials firm has conducted the review of the company’s Johnston Range project. A total mineralization of 5.8 billion tonnes of iron potential was found in the Radar Iron prospect. The Johnson Range is located in the Yilgarn iron ore province of Western Australia and is spread over 35 km.

The results were obtained by an aero magnetic data survey. There is a 20 to 65% mineralization of iron for 493 million tonnes of iron at 40 to 65%. The company hopes to define a maiden magnetite resource by the end of the year’s exploration. Radar Iron also announced on Friday that RM Research is ready with a research report on the Iron Ore assets of the company located in central Yilgarn in the province of Western Australia.
