Wolverine Minerals Starts Exploration Work at Dawson Range Gold Belt Properties

Wolverine Minerals has begun the 2011 exploration program at its Dawson Range Gold Belt properties in central Yukon Territory. It has 17 gold properties in the Dawson Range district.

The company has moved the crews to a central base location of the Mount Nansen region. It will include backhoe trenching, comprehensive soil sampling and geological mapping in the preliminary work and will focus on the BBB and DDD-Shamrock properties, where the historical work has identified the mineralization. Wolverine and Rockhaven Resources will execute this preliminary work, which will also comprise an airborne geophysical survey and will cover the areas of the Klaza property of Rockhaven and the contiguous BBB property of Wolverine. Following this preliminary work at BBB and the DDD-Shamrock, the company will also perform core drilling. Also, this initial work will be moved towards Mount Nansen’s other core properties.

Furthermore, the company is anticipating beginning the work at the company's 10 properties, which is located in the Finlayson Lake region.
