Xmet Confirms Continuity of Gold Mineralization at Duquesne-Ottoman Property

Xmet has confirmed the quality and continuity of mineralization through further channel sampling conducted on the Shaft zone. This zone is located at its Duquesne-Ottoman property.

Additional channel sampling results from Shaft Zone stripping program. New results are shown in dark grey.

The company has performed further channel sampling and trenching at the Trench 2 and has encountered up to 12.25 g/t gold over 1.3 m and 3.18 g/t gold over 4.2 m.

The COO and President of the company, has stated that the further trenching conducted at the Shaft zone has validated the mineralization continuity and the company is confident that there is a possibility for the same mineralized continuity in the perpendicular dimension. The company has opened the Shaft zone mineralization along the strike for more than 150 m and the system is exposed in both the directions. This zone has shown a good chance of defining some shallow ounces that could be approached from a near surface ramp or from surface.

The company is performing a 7,000 m diamond drill campaign at the Duquesne-Ottoman property. It has allocated around 2,800 m for near surface drilling at the Shaft zone at a spacing of 25 x 25 m along the strike for 150 m and down to a 100 m depth. Xmet is waiting for the assay results.
