THEMAC Resources Reports Primary Drilling Results from Copper Flat Project

ECR Minerals has turned its attention to the THEMAC resources’ news release during November 2011, wherein THEMAC reported the primary drilling results from the Copper Flat project, which contains copper, gold, molybdenum and silver, in USA.

The data will be incorporated into the Copper Flat project prefeasibility study which is on track to be completed in the first quarter of 2012

THEMAC released the drilling results of eight diamond core holes out of 16. It has accepted for 47 holes program and will continue the drill program in 2012. The target of the 2011 drill campaign was to validate the current grades, lateral step out holes and to depth for examining the potential to expand the deposit’s resources. It has authenticated and extended the high-grade mineralised regions. Data will be included in the prefeasibility study of this project, which will be completed in 2012, Q1. The company has encountered 102 intervals grading up to or over 0.65% copper that included 2.26% copper and 34 intercepts of gold, whose values are up to 0.3 g/t and 1.05 g/t of gold.

THEMAC possess 100% ownership interest in this project, as it has acquired an option in ECR’s project during March 2011 and done the execution of this option during May 2011.

ECR Minerals’ Managing Director, Patrick Harford, has stated that THEMAC has obtained positive preliminary drilling results from Copper Flat, along with all other holes showing average grades to the total depth from the surface. All the eight holes yielded average grades of significant copper that were more than 0.12% copper of cut-off grade at which the project’s NI 43-101 resource calculation was prepared. In four holes, the average grade of copper considerably goes beyond 0.303% copper of the current indicated resource grade of the deposit. The company announced several high grade intervals at the near-surface depth.
