Pershimco Resources has discovered high-grade gold at the surface towards the southern part of the La Pava target from the 2011 exploration drill program conducted at the Cerro Quema copper-gold project, Panama.
The fresh assay results include two recent reverse circulation (RC) intervals, which yielded 2.01 g/t gold over 45 m in the hole # PRH11021 and 2.08 g/t gold over 43 m in the hole # PRH11022. These recent results come under the mineral resources extension drill program at the LaPava target and the holes were drilled along the LaPava dome’s south section. The LaPava target’s southern slope is sheer. Currently, the company is preparing the platforms and roads to access the freshly identified zone. The RC drill program at the LaPava target can obtain an encouraging and significant effect on the oxide zone’s mineral resources.
The company has intersected 0.82 g/t gold over 6 m in PRH11016, 0.35 g/t gold over 9 m in PRH11019, 0.09 g/t gold over 13 m in PRH11020, 2.01 g/t gold over 45 m in PRH11021, 2.08 g/t gold over 43 m in PRH11022, 0.29 g/t gold over 10 m in PRH11026, 0.57 g/t gold over 12 m in PRH11030, 0.61 g/t gold over 11 m in PRH11031.
