Lone Star Gold, a gold exploration and development company, has made arrangements with a local processing facility to get about 200 tpd of washed concentrate from its Tailings Project. This project represents 1.2 Mt of mine tailings close to the Hidalgo Del Parral city in Chihuahua, Mexico. Lone Star holds a 65% interest in the Tailings Project.

Rockhaven Resources, a Canada-based mineral exploration company, has planned to conduct a 2012 exploration program at its wholly-owned Klaza property, which is situated in the Dawson Range Gold Belt, Central Yukon Territory.
Northern Freegold Resources, a precious metals exploration and development company based in Canada, has reported that it is carrying out the 2012 exploration campaign at the Freegold Mountain project, which is situated 70 km towards the western part of Carmacks in Yukon.
Fairmont Resources has released drilling results from the spring 2012 program conducted at the Marmion South property, Ontario, and nearby Hammond Reef property. A total of 10 holes, totaling 1,400 m, were drilled by the company.
